At the request of the watch community, Sternglas has added a practical and elegant feature to our popular Naos: a big date display at 6 o'clock.
Two separate date discs – one for the tens (0–3), the other for the units (0–9) – ensure excellent legibility, framed by a generously sized date window.
This so-called big date complication dates back to inventions of the 18th century and found its way into wristwatches in the early 1930s – a piece of watchmaking history we've reinterpreted.
Movement: Seiko quartz caliber VJ76.
Case: Brushed and polished stainless steel. 38mm in diameter, 10mm thick (without crystal), 42mm lug to lug, 20mm lug width.
Dial: Alabaster with date function and luminous hands and markers.
Crystal: Sapphire.
Water Resistance: 50 meters.
Strap: Brown bridle leather with stainless-steel buckle.
